Specify the opening dimensions, single or double configuration, wood species, steel finish, hardware, and intended manual or electric operation. Automation equipment and compatibility must be confirmed for the individual project by the independent installer.
All WRD gates are manufactured at our factory with applicable ASTM standards applied during fabrication. Gates intended for automation are manufactured to applicable ASTM F2200 gate-construction requirements for their intended use classification. WRD fabricates and supplies gates only and does not provide on-site installation.
Class I applies to residential automated vehicular gate use serving one to four single-family dwellings; it is not a blanket certification. An independent, qualified installer must hold required local licenses or credentials and handle permits, foundations, anchoring, operators, safety devices, entrapment protection, testing, commissioning, and verification of completed-system compliance with ASTM F2200, UL 325, and local requirements. WRD remains responsible for its gate fabrication.
